The tried and true method to building relationships, networking is approached by many with a sense of dread. But what if you could expand your social (and professional!) circles and have a great time doing it? At LakeFrog, we use the three strategies below to help put some excitement back into making connections:

1. Pursue Your Passions - For us, it’s sports, but for you it may be something else. Whatever it is, go out and do it at 110%. Other people will see your enjoyment and gravitate towards you.
2. Organize an Event - Start a book club, a weekly poker match, or a running group. Bring people from different social circles together and enjoy the feeling of community.
3. Try New Things - A new restaurant, a new route to work, a new approach to your day. Whatever you do, changing it up is the best way to see new things and new people that you may have never noticed.
